And here is this year's first linux installation on my box. That is sidux with its absolutely stunning artwork along with KDE4.3.4
sidux 2009-04 by default
-> has KDE 4.3.4
-> has version 2.6.32 kernel 1000 Hz with PREEMPT (for desktops) and feels extremely fast
-> has a stunning artwork
-> plays mp3, m4a and mkv without extra codecs!
-> able to mount ntfs partitions
-> has alsa 1.0.21 and most importantly no pulseaudio by default (I dont like pulse audio as it is another layer over alsa, but I am not against installing when required)

Great work by sidux team, I enjoy it.
